Electronic Commerce (ETD)

Target group

Only students enrolled in the ETD European Triple Degree can participate.

Main Objectives

Electronic Commerce is a substantial part of economic activity and accounts for transactions initiated, negotiated and/or settled via electronic media. The goal of this course is to develop an understanding of the basic economic principles of e-commerce business models as well as the ability to use the core instruments to generate traffic via online advertising and capture value through online pricing.

After the course, students should be able to

  • analyze e-commerce business models
  • understand the instruments of online advertising and search engine marketing
  • understand online-pricing and auction models
